Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technicians to join our healthcare team. This opportunity is in a newly built urgent care clinic and will require the candidate to perform some additional duties such as, but not limited to, rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing minor diagnostic testing, and returning phone calls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with rapid patient through-put. Duties Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per provider orders, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. Collaborate with providers and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs. Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness. Document and report findings accurately in patient records while maintaining confidentiality. Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold the standards of diagnostic radiology within the facility. Skills Proficient in routine procedures and protocols related to diagnostic imaging. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to medical imaging practices. Experience with diagnostic evaluation techniques and familiarity with various medical imaging modalities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to maintaining a safe environment for patients through adherence to aseptic techniques.
