Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into an essential role delivering high-quality MRI imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist ready to make a difference by supporting diagnostic excellence.
Schedule and Hours:
13-week contract
Shifts:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-10:30pm; Saturday-Sunday, 8:30am-4:30pm Rotating weekend shifts
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Current registration in MRI technology Proven ability to operate GE MRI equipment Experience working with Cerner EMR systems Expertise performing a range of MRI procedures, including contrast and non-contrast studies Black scrubs required per dress code
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with breast MRI procedures is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards Work collaboratively within a team of nine imaging professionals Accurately document patient information and imaging results using Cerner EMR Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions to appropriate personnel Adhere to both hospital and department guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process Flexibility to float within specialty imaging areas as needed
