Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist seeking a contract role working with leading MRI imaging technology. You'll be part of a dedicated imaging unit consisting of 9 staff members, utilizing GE equipment and Cerner EMR. This contract spans 13 weeks and offers an immediate start date.
Schedule:
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-10:30pm; Saturday-Sunday, 8:30am-4:30pm Rotating weekends
Key Qualifications:
Valid MRI certification (required) Experience performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures Proficiency with GE MRI systems and Cerner EMR Registered MRI credential (required for consideration) Breast MRI experience is preferred and will be prioritized Ability to work in a collaborative 9-person imaging department
Role Responsibilities:
Complete high-quality MRI scans (contrast and non-contrast) according to safety protocols and physician orders Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the imaging process Operate GE MRI equipment efficiently for a range of clinical scenarios Maintain accurate records using Cerner EMR system Collaborate with other technologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal workflow Adhere to facility policies and wear professional black scrubs as required Participate in the department's rotating weekend schedule
