Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding role as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI and X-ray within a dedicated hospital imaging department. Work within an experienced team of nine professionals, using advanced GE equipment to deliver exceptional patient care. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with an immediate start, providing the chance to make a meaningful contribution to diagnostic imaging services.
Schedule/Hours:
Shifts:
7:00 am - 10:30 pm (Monday-Thursday), 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Saturday-Sunday) Rotating weekend coverage
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current MRI registry required Proven expertise in MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures Proficiency in operating GE imaging equipment Strong background in X-ray imaging Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Breast MRI experience is highly desirable Must wear black scrubs as part of the dress code
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of routine and specialized MRI and X-ray procedures according to physician orders Ensure safe use and maintenance of imaging equipment Prepare and position patients for diagnostic procedures with attention to comfort and accuracy Accurately document procedures and patient information in the Cerner EMR system Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize imaging workflow Maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as needed
