Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care in a dynamic imaging department as a skilled CT Technologist. This contract opportunity emphasizes your expertise in computed tomography, supporting diagnostic excellence and patient safety across a busy hospital environment. Your work will be key to providing accurate and timely imaging services for both emergent and scheduled cases.
Schedule:
12-hour day shifts 36 hours per week Shift times: 11:00 am - 11:30 pm, working
Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated proficiency in CT imaging procedures and protocols Strong knowledge of imaging safety practices and patient positioning Experience operating advanced CT equipment and performing contrast administrations Previous hospital imaging experience preferred Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care approach Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and physicians Valid BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and departmental standards Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and privacy Monitor patients during procedures and recognize any acute changes in status Accurately process images and assist with clinical documentation Ensure equipment performance and troubleshoot minor technical issues Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work environment Provide clear instructions and deliver reassurance to patients undergoing imaging studies Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to facilitate timely patient throughput Benefits include the opportunity to broaden your experience in a reputable healthcare setting—embracing fast-paced, technology-driven diagnostic care.
