1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and CT advanced registry, plus 2+ years of experience, for a night shift contract role. Details 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, 40 hours per week Serves ED, inpatient units, observation units, and outpatient populations Facility average inpatient census of approximately 400 Performs an average of 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends Provides CT guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed Performs Cardiac CT imaging on day shift, 7 days a week EMR is EPIC with Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS Equipment includes 3 CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge+) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors On call requirement of 2-3 shifts per month No weekend rotation or floating requirements Requirements ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT BLS certification required License required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience required Minimum 12 months of core work experience in CT, with most recent experience within the last year Skilled in starting peripheral IVs Proficient in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning Experience with stroke imaging including perfusion studies Experience with colorectal studies TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information Facility offers X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine with Radiology Nursing support TJC Stroke accredited facility with no trauma designation Guest Services/Transport support available for inpatient and observation patients Administrative onboarding includes 1 day covering Epic, eLearnings, and policy review Departmental orientation ranges from 2 days to 1 week depending on need, including weekdays even for weekend positions Black scrub color required Free parking available in surface lot and parking decks Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays First-time travelers will be considered Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position Final interview conducted by the manager
