This contract position focuses on delivering quality MRI scans and patient care within a collaborative environment—ideal for professionals seeking a supportive setting and clear structure.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour day shifts, Monday through
Thursday Hours:
9:00pm to 7:30am No weekend rotation; assigned shifts remain consistent throughout the contract
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment, ensuring precise imaging and patient safety protocols at all times Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including screening for contraindications and providing clear instructions Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to review images and deliver high-quality diagnostic services Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records as required Support department needs by participating in a fair on-call rotation for additional coverage, alongside full-time and PRN staff Provide holiday coverage as needed, with advance notice required for holiday time off No floating to other units—focus entirely on MRI imaging
Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent) Minimum of one year experience in a clinical MRI setting preferred Strong technical troubleshooting and patient care skills Ability to work overnight shifts and support departmental on-call needs Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
