Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Elevate your career in medical imaging with an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care as an MRI Technologist. This contract position is ideal for skilled professionals ready to leverage their expertise within a state-of-the-art environment.
Schedule:
13-week assignment Thursday to Sunday Combination of 2x12-hour and 2x8-hour day shifts
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT(MR) certification is required Valid BLS certification Proficient in administering MRI contrast agents Previous experience using Epic and PACS systems Strong foundation in imaging safety and patient care protocols Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Assess and position patients accurately for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Administer contrast materials in accordance with established guidelines Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare team members Verify patient information, document procedures, and ensure imaging records are accurately updated in Epic/PACS Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with clinical support teams for seamless operation Remain up to date on safety standards and infection control measures This assignment offers the chance to practice advanced MRI techniques while supporting patient-centered care in a collaborative setting.
