Our candidate is given autonomy and becomes the patient's number one resource and advocate while performing CT procedures and assisting radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical skill. Speaking of technical skills, the candidate is responsible for CT scanning procedures and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Performs CT scans of various anatomy of the body to produce clinically diagnostic images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Responsible for CT scans of newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescence, adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for the availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area. Operates CT equipment, develops films and prepares CT room for procedures. Are you a critical thinker? Shift:
PRN Requirements The fine print: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. CT Registry preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work is fast paced. Visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling required. Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
