Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract role as a key member of a busy and diverse CT imaging department. This position is ideal for an experienced technologist who excels in all areas of CT imaging and thrives in environments where both independence and teamwork are valued. Contribute your expertise alongside an engaged staff utilizing advanced equipment and cutting-edge technology.
Schedule/Hours:
Possible weekend shifts Potential rotation to another shift as needed Approximately 12 hours of on-call time per month
Qualification Requirements:
ARRT (R) certification required Demonstrated competency in all areas of CT imaging—diagnostic scans and invasive procedures Proficiency in emergency department trauma and stroke imaging Team-focused, adaptable, and able to work independently Self-motivation and adaptability in a large, fast-paced hospital setting
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience working with GE equipment, especially Optima, EVO, Revolution series, and Medrad Injectors Hands-on experience with invasive CT, cardiac, and venipuncture procedures Familiarity with Cerner Rad Net and Phillips PACs systems
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures, including neuro, musculoskeletal, body, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric exams Collaborate closely with other technologists, supervisors, and radiology assistants to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal workflow Respond to emergency trauma and stroke cases as they arise Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory protocols Rotate between day, evening, and night shifts as needed to support departmental needs

The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
