Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care in a cutting-edge interventional radiology environment. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in both imaging procedures and registered nursing within the field of interventional radiology.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract position
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with experience in interventional radiology Strong background in imaging, including familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and equipment Ability to manage and monitor patients before, during, and after interventional procedures Excellent collaboration skills to work with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists and technologists BLS and ACLS certification required Exceptional communication skills and detail-oriented approach to patient care
Responsibilities:
Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs during procedures Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team Administer medications, contrast media, and sedation as required Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient outcomes, and medication administration Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions Uphold all safety protocols and infection control standards to maintain a safe clinical environment
