Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role where your expertise as an MRI Technologist directly supports patient care and diagnostic excellence. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to providing high-quality MRI imaging.
Schedule:
Hours:
7:00am-10:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm Saturday-Sunday Rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications:
Current MRI Certification (required) Registered with a recognized MRI credentialing body Familiarity with GE MRI equipment Strong competency in performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures EMR proficiency, preferably with Cerner Black scrubs required for dress code
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with breast MRI procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of MRI imaging procedures including both contrast and non-contrast studies, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols Accurately identify and position patients for optimal image clarity Operate and troubleshoot GE MRI equipment as necessary Effectively document procedures and patient interactions using Cerner EMR Collaborate with other staff (RNs, CNAs, technologists) to deliver exceptional patient service and smooth workflow Maintain a courteous and professional bedside manner during all patient interactions
