Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding role as a Radiologic Technologist/X-ray Technologist, supporting a collaborative imaging team for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity involves working within a dynamic unit equipped with GE technology and utilizing the Cerner EMR system. Your expertise will directly contribute to providing high-quality diagnostic services in a busy environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Hours:
7:00am-10:30pm Monday-Thursday; 8:30am-4:30pm Saturday-Sunday Rotating weekends may be required
Qualifications:
Active MRI certification required Previous experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist Proficiency in performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred Breast MRI experience considered highly desirable Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Assess, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging exams Operate imaging equipment, including GE MRI/X-ray systems, according to established protocols Document procedures and patient data accurately within the Cerner EMR Adhere to established infection control and safety guidelines Collaborate closely with RNs, CNAs, radiologists, and other clinical staff to achieve unit goals Maintain professionalism by following all dress code requirements (black scrubs)
