Job Function:

Perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging by properly positioning patients and adjusting equipment according to physician orders Set up, operate, and maintain radiologic equipment in alignment with all safety, policy, and procedural standards Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure comfort, understanding, and cooperation Assess and maintain patient safety, physical comfort, and emotional well‑being throughout the imaging process Apply radiation‑safety best practices to minimize exposure for both patients and staff Ensure equipment readiness, troubleshoot issues, and support smooth daily workflow Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of radiology experience (inpatient and/or outpatient) Experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging required Pediatric and PICU imaging experience required Trauma experience preferred (Level I and Level II) ARRT-R (preferred but highly desired) Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License (may be obtained prior to start) BLS Certification required
