Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety standards Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and radiation safety Verify patient identity, review orders, and maintain accurate imaging and patient records Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support timely, quality clinical decisions Adhere to ALARA principles and all regulatory, Joint Commission, and facility compliance standards Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment and monitor supply and equipment needs Use Staff DNA's technology platform to manage assignments, documentation, and scheduling Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to maintain competencies Required Skills Digital radiography (DR) operation X-ray positioning and imaging techniques Radiation safety and ALARA compliance PACS/RIS and EMR proficiency Patient preparation and communication Image quality assessment and adjustment Infection prevention and control practices Basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment Documentation and workflow management in mobile/tech platforms Collaboration with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
