POSITION PURPOSE
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist functions as a medical imaging professional, working under delegated authority of the Radiologist and Imaging Director , and will provide clinically relevant imaging, information and specialties to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Staff CT Technologist activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility guidelines, policies and protocols and applicable professional standards. Patient care assignments may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups . Skills required are keen attention to detail, strong technical expertise, and commitment to patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will perform computed technology imaging exams independently with minimal supervision from the lead CT Technologist. You will work closely with lead and staff technologists, physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of exam quality and patient safety. Call expectations follow the hospital's union requirements.

Knowledge of Picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Communication and organizational skills required A graduate from an accredited school or college program in Radiology Technology is required (associates degree).
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
