Per Diem / As Needed Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced and motivated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our growing team at a newly established Outpatient-Based Laboratory (OBL) in Henderson, Nevada. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a patient-centered practice focused on providing high-quality, minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures in a modern outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional patient care, and enjoys working closely with physicians to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for interventional procedures. Assist physicians during vascular and interventional radiology procedures while maintaining sterile technique. Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Position patients appropriately and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols. Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment. Assist with inventory management and stocking of procedural supplies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe procedural environment.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification. Current Nevada Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain). Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Vascular procedures. Strong knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred:
Vascular Interventional (VI) Certification. Experience in an outpatient vascular center or OBL. Experience assisting with peripheral arterial disease, venous interventions, and embolization procedures. Experience with electronic medical records. What We Offer Competitive per diem compensation.
