What to Expect Tesla's Solar and residential energy products are reducing reliance on the grid around the world. The Residential Energy Builder Partnerships team serves as the primary point of contact for our growing base of home builder partners and owns the full relationship lifecycle—from prospecting and identification through onboarding, contract execution, community deployment, and ongoing fulfillment of all partnership terms. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for delivering exceptional builder experiences, establishing scalable processes for Tesla's residential energy builder partnerships, and driving revenue growth and brand presence in new construction. In this role, you will work with leadership to achieve builder partnership and deployment goals while collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, design, operations, legal, and regulatory teams. Success requires strong analytical skills to drive adoption, propose new large-scale models, and forecast accurate community and project timelines—along with systems thinking, creativity, and clear communication to synthesize field insights that shape product, process, and strategic direction. What You'll Do Support Tesla's residential energy growth by managing and expanding home builder partnership opportunities, leading builder readiness, go-to-market planning, and community/product setup for builder accounts Partner on account onboarding, collaboration activities such as pilots and model home deployments, ongoing account management, and long-term retention and growth of the relationship and revenue Retain and grow the value of assigned builder accounts by expanding community intake, order volume, and multi-product attach (solar, Powerwall, and related offerings) Act as extreme owner of assigned builder accounts to realize forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule, identifying and clearly communicating readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks Collect, communicate, and champion builder and homebuyer feedback to influence programmatic and technical improvements that sustain and grow the builder business in support of Tesla residential energy goals Deliver exceptional partnership support, including efficient acknowledgment and resolution of issues across design, permitting, installation, interconnection, and closeout Manage brand presence across builder communities and sales centers by partnering on marketing initiatives, model home showcases, and co-branded materials What You'll Bring 5+ years working with customers to support a technical product or service 5+ years of retail sales experience or business development role Experience bringing products/services into retail stores in both domestic and international markets Independently motivated, with a demonstrated track record of project ownership Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and negotiation skills Strong analytical skills in business and technical issues Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
