Job Description

Health Plus Management LLC (HPM) provides management services to medical practices specializing in the area of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation & Pain Management. HPM manages 50 locations throughout Long Island, NYC including the 5 boroughs, Westchester, Upstate NY, NJ and Connecticut. We provide management services that give the physician and therapists the opportunity to provide patient care without worrying about the administrative needs of the practice. Duties & Responsibilities Perform MRI scans on patients as ordered by orthopedic physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results. Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort and safety. Operate MRI equipment, adjusting settings and monitoring equipment to ensure proper functionality. Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient understanding and compliance. Follow safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring patient safety and adhering to radiation safety protocols. Assist in identifying and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions or issues. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and care. Maintain and clean MRI equipment, ensuring the equipment is in excellent working condition at all times. Ensure that all procedures are conducted in accordance with the American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation standards. Education & Training Must be ACR Accredited and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI Must be licensed in NYS Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology from an accredited program. Knowledge & Experience Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and orthopedic anatomy. Ability to operate MRI machines and related technology effectively and efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and staff. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality imaging results. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety protocols, including MRI safety standards, infection control, and patient confidentiality. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer software. Previous experience in an orthopedic or musculoskeletal practice preferred.
Schedule:
3 days per week, 7:00-3:00pm
Estimated Pay:
$45-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience
