• 8AM, alternating weekends and holidays required
• At least 1 year of MRI experience in an acute setting
• Knowledge of GE or Philips MRI equipment
• Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• NYSDOH Rad Tech license required

• Required Education:

• Associate's degree from a Radiologic Technology program .
• Responsibilities Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Operate MRI equipment to capture high-resolution images of various body parts, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs. Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently, documenting procedures, patient information, and imaging results accurately. Implement behavioral interventions when necessary to help anxious or claustrophobic patients remain calm during scans. Maintain strict safety standards by screening patients for contraindications such as metal implants or devices incompatible with MRI technology. Stay current with advancements in hyperbaric medicine and telehealth platforms to enhance patient treatment options and care delivery. Assist in wound care and other related procedures as part of comprehensive patient treatment planning when applicable. Communicate clearly with clients, providing education about procedures and addressing any questions or concerns effectively. Experience Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in capturing diagnostic-quality images. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to radiology and patient care practices. Experience working with culturally diverse communities, ensuring respectful and effective communication across different backgrounds. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), with ongoing commitment to maintaining these credentials. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for accurate documentation and data security. Prior exposure to hyperbaric medicine or wound care is a plus, supporting comprehensive patient treatment plans. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams using telehealth platforms for remote consultations or follow-up care.

$2,700.00
