Qualifications & Experience:

Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment Proven skill in preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures Detailed understanding of radiation safety protocols and compliance practices Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care Ability to analyze imaging results and collaborate with radiologists and other care providers Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging center is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Ensure accurate patient identification, thorough documentation, and meticulous record-keeping Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed to ensure optimal functionality Follow stringent safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure Assist providers with procedures when required and respond calmly to urgent/emergent situations Deliver clear explanations to patients regarding procedures, addressing any questions or concerns This contract assignment offers the opportunity to work in a modern imaging facility, surrounded by dedicated professionals who prioritize patient wellbeing and advanced diagnostic care.
