Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist specializing in CT where you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality imaging services for a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals. This contract opportunity offers a dedicated night shift schedule and a supportive environment that values skill, confidentiality, and collaboration.
Schedule & Hours:
Nights, 36 hours per week Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Contract position, starting 10/26Required Qualifications:
ARRT (CT) certification New York State Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered status BLS certification Experience working with GE X-ray, Siemens CT, and Fluoroscopy equipment Formal Rad Tech education (please include details on your resume)Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform CT procedures as directed by referring physicians Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and hospital information Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, particularly regarding incident reporting Practice and promote radiation safety for both patients and staff Participate in Radiology Management System processes related to patient procedures Offer patient education and serve as a knowledgeable resource during their imaging experience Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring physicians, and other staff to ensure efficient delivery of services Consistently provide service that aligns with departmental standards and best practices in diagnostic imaging and radiology Perform additional tasks as required to support smooth departmental operations This role provides the chance to contribute to outstanding patient care within a leading healthcare environment while expanding your expertise with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative team.
