Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:
Explaining the procedure during the X Ray/CT scan to patients Responsible for floating to OR cases Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images Administering contrast IV dyes to enhance imaging Examining images to ensure they are usable Updating patient medical record Cleaning and maintaining X Ray/CT scan equipment Keeping inventory of X Ray/CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Associate's degree in a radiologic technology program CT Certified or Cross Trained in CT Required Current ARRT certification BLS Certification A valid New York State CT license Ability to work independently Licenses & Certifications Required BLS Radiologic Technologist Preferred Mammography Certification Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws. $31.83 - $38.62 per hour
