Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a crucial role providing high-quality imaging services in a dynamic hospital setting. This opportunity is tailored for skilled Radiology Technologists with a strong OR background and recent experience working in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital. You will operate on a contract basis, supporting a range of radiologic procedures and serving a diverse patient population, medical staff, and regulatory bodies.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts (15:00-23:30) Every third weekend rotation (same shift hours) Call time required during assigned weekends
Qualifications:
Current certification as an X-ray Tech / Radiologic Technologist Demonstrated proficiency in operating room imaging procedures Experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital environment Familiarity with portable and fluoroscopic imaging techniques Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles Effective communicator with patients, physicians, radiologists, and ancillary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform a range of imaging procedures, including portable and fluoroscopy, in accordance with physician instructions Deliver precise documentation and manage requisitions efficiently Maintain open, responsive communication to ensure exceptional patient care and service quality Adhere to all safety standards and hospital policy for radiation safety and incident reporting Use information service systems proficiently for workflow integration and documentation Provide patient education, offering thoughtful attention to their care and comfort Follow established clinical protocols and contribute to a professional, collaborative team environment Perform additional duties to support departmental and hospital goals as needed If you are dedicated to high standards of care and possess the specialized skillset required, take the next step in advancing your career.
