Per HR Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures. This contract position is based in Rockville Centre, NY, with a requirement for per diem work on Fridays. The role involves assisting physicians with diagnostic imaging and ensuring optimal patient care using safe and efficient processes.
Requirements:
Experience in performing radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures. Familiarity with fluoro guided injections and assisting physicians during procedures. Ability to operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images. Knowledge of radiation protection techniques and safety protocols. Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff. Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Adherence to infection-control policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
Associates or bachelor's degree in applied radiologic science or certification from an accredited radiologic technology program. Licensed and registered in the state of New York. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of radiation safety. Experience in patient transfers and positioning techniques. Knowledge of fluoroscopic imaging equipment preferred.
