Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) Demonstrated hands-on experience performing mammograms Familiarity with mammography equipment, image evaluation, and safety protocols Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammography exams according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare patients for procedures, explaining imaging processes to ensure comfort and cooperation Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently Review images for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards before submission Maintain thorough records of procedures and patient interactions Adhere to all infection prevention and radiation safety practices Collaborate with radiologists and fellow staff to ensure seamless workflow
