Qualifications & Experience:

Valid certification in Radiologic Technology; CT and/or PET certifications preferred Demonstrated experience operating CT and CT/PET equipment Knowledge of radiation safety standards and relevant regulations Strong communication and patient interaction skills Ability to adapt to varying workflow demands

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT and CT/PET scans according to established protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain process to ensure comfort and cooperation Safeguard and maintain imaging equipment; troubleshoot minor technical issues as they arise Document patient data and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record system Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes Uphold stringent quality control, safety practices, and infection control procedures Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
