Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging - MRI for an MRI Technologist assignment. In this contract role, you will work alongside a dedicated team utilizing advanced MRI technology to provide critical diagnostic information for patients and their care providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated expertise in MRI procedures and safety protocols Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and MRI physics Proficient with radiology information systems and PACS Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environmentResponsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Position and prepare patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing any patient concerns Follow all facility and safety guidelines, including screening patients for contraindications Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate exam protocols Document and verify all patient and exam information accurately Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Monitor equipment performance and report concerns promptly Assist with workflow efficiency and maintain cleanliness in the imaging area This contract position offers a valuable experience in a professional healthcare setting, working with advanced imaging equipment and a team dedicated to patient-centered care.
