Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT imaging equipment to produce comprehensive diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout scanning procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate support. Follow all protocols for proper positioning and imaging techniques, optimizing scan quality and minimizing patient exposure. Accurately maintain patient records and document procedures in accordance with facility and industry standards. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver timely and effective diagnostic services. Perform regular inspection and maintenance of equipment, reporting malfunctions or potential hazards as needed. Adhere to strict infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT) or equivalent credential is required. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment, with proficiency in CT. Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and CT imaging physics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
