Qualifications:

Active certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proficiency in performing diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures Knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and best practices Ability to operate imaging equipment accurately and safely Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Current BLS certification preferred Previous experience in a healthcare imaging department is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by providers, ensuring accuracy and optimal image quality Position patients appropriately while prioritizing patient comfort and safety Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to established standards Observe established protocols for radiation safety for patients and staff Record patient information and imaging data promptly and accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to ensure quality care Demonstrate empathy and clear communication when preparing and assisting patients through the imaging process
