Job Description

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams and support excellent patient care across our healthcare network. In this casual role, you will operate radiologic equipment, follow physician orders and safety protocols, position patients, and ensure accurate image capture and documentation. You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff while providing compassionate, inclusive care. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality. Position and prepare patients, explaining procedures and maintaining comfort and dignity. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies at all times. Verify patient identity and exam details; document procedures accurately in
EHR/PACS.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and imaging areas in a clean and organized state. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competencies and certifications.
