Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support advanced imaging services for a 13-week contract in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with medical professionals for accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Schedule:
4x10 hour shifts
Mids:
1:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Tuesday through
Friday Qualifications:
Current BLS certification required Must possess ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification Minimum of 2 years of MRI Tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and equipment functionality Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic records Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support quality diagnostic processes Adhere to strict safety and infection control procedures Provide clear, compassionate instructions to patients
