Role:

MRI Technologist I, with potential to advance to MRI Technologist II based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform and assist with magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring proper patient identification, preparation, and safety; optimize imaging protocols; evaluate image quality; administer medications as prescribed; assist with interventional procedures; educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; apply MRI safety principles; and participate in safety investigations.

Qualifications:

Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment; additional certification for advancement within 24 months. Education includes graduation from a radiologic technology program; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Skills:

Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, data acquisition, and patient care, with strong attention to safety, technical quality, and compliance with policies. This role is primarily performed in a clinical environment, emphasizing patient safety, technical proficiency, and adherence to organizational policies.
