Could this be you? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to aid providers in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and efficiency. Core Responsibilities Operate X-ray machines and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images and minimize radiation exposure. Ensure proper documentation and labeling of images and patient records. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures. Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care. Prepare and assist patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding. Assist with patient registration and patient triage, including vital signs and medical history as needed. Qualifications Associates Degree ARRT Certification required Valid RI State Radiologist Technologist License required BLS Certification 1-2 years experience in medical imaging in an urgent care setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Schedule Monday to Friday with Rotating weekends Travel may be required.
