The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort and safety while utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to support diagnostic procedures aiding in effective care and treatment plans. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocols, safety standards, and physician orders. Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring calibration and functionality. Travel between facilities within the healthcare network to provide imaging services as needed. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients accurately, and ensuring their comfort. Document and archive images in accordance with healthcare compliance and privacy regulations. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to evaluate images and assist in the diagnostic process. Participate in continuous professional development and maintain current knowledge of technological advancements in the field.
