Key Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional (VI) preferred Valid state radiologic technologist license (as required) Previous experience as an IR Tech or in a hospital imaging department highly desirable Strong understanding of sterile technique and interventional imaging protocols Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and assist with a range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, biopsies, and drain placements Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient well-being during procedures Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols Accurately document patient history, procedure details, and post-procedural care Ensure imaging quality and support radiologists and physicians as needed Maintain and troubleshoot IR equipment to ensure optimal operation
