Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Deliver advanced diagnostic imaging care as an MRI Technologist in a contract position. This role leverages your expertise in MRI procedures to ensure accurate, high-quality images, critical for patient diagnoses and treatment planning. Collaborate with a supportive healthcare team, engaging directly with patients to provide a comfortable, safe imaging experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging procedures to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images. Prepare patients for MRI scans, explaining processes, screening for contraindications, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to discuss image findings when necessary. Review and assess images for diagnostic quality, performing necessary adjustments for optimal imaging results. Maintain detailed records, following all documentation protocols and patient privacy regulations. Oversee regular equipment checks and coordinate with technical staff for preventive maintenance or repairs. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards within the imaging department.Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program. Valid certification by ARRT (MR) or equivalent. Demonstrated competency and experience in MRI imaging procedures. Strong communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced imaging environment.
