Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures including X-ray techniques with precision and attention to detail Provide compassionate patient care by preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes clearly, and monitoring their comfort throughout the exam Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure during all imaging activities Support clinical staff in various medical tasks Maintain accurate records of all imaging procedures performed, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards Qualifications Proven experience in urgent care settings or emergency rooms Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols consistently Ability to provide excellent patient care with empathy while maintaining high technical standards Certification or licensure as an X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist required; additional certifications in sonography or mammography are a plus Familiarity with Level II trauma center experience or emergency medicine environments is advantageous Join us to make a meaningful difference through cutting-edge medical imaging and compassionate patient support.
