Job Description

Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of experience (2 years preferred) and have an active, Non-Certified Radiological Technician (NCRT) permit with the Texas Medical Board and Medical Assistant Certification. Candidates need to be punctual, dependable and be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Primary Job Duties (include but not limited to): Greet patients in waiting area, assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently, escort patients to discharge counter. Obtain patient history; assess/triage patient and record information on chart. Start/monitor IV, blood draw, perform CLIA-waived lab tests and assist provider with any procedures. Remove sutures/staples and change sterile and non-sterile dressings. Performs timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by provider. Monitor disposable inventory and place orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Perform quality checks on medical equipment. Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.
