X-Ray Technologist - Part-Time Instant Orthopedic Care Draper, UT Job Details Part-time From $29 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Clinic experience Diagnostic radiology Outpatient experience Patient interaction ARRT Certification Full Job Description Instant Orthopedic Care (IOC) is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Part-Time X-Ray Technologist to join our growing orthopedic urgent care team in Draper, Utah. At IOC, we provide same-day evaluation and treatment for fractures, sprains, sports injuries, and other acute musculoskeletal conditions. With on-site digital X-ray, our team is able to quickly evaluate injuries and begin treatment during the same visit. As an X-Ray Technologist at IOC, you will work closely with our orthopedic providers to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while helping create an efficient, comfortable, and positive experience for our patients. Because we operate as a team, this position also includes assisting with patient flow and other basic clinical responsibilities when imaging volume allows. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-rays for orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries Properly position patients and obtain appropriate orthopedic X-ray views based on provider orders Operate IOC's digital radiography equipment safely and efficiently Explain imaging procedures to patients and help ensure their comfort throughout the examination Follow all radiation safety procedures and applicable state and federal requirements Ensure images are high quality and properly transmitted for provider review Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe X-ray room Perform routine quality-control procedures and help ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained Work closely with PAs and physicians to support efficient diagnosis and treatment Assist with patient flow and basic clinical responsibilities when X-ray volume allows Help maintain an efficient, welcoming, and patient-centered clinic environment Skills & Qualifications Current Utah radiologic technologist licensure/credentials as required ARRT certification preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiography Experience with orthopedic or musculoskeletal X-rays preferred Experience in orthopedic, urgent care, sports medicine, or similar outpatient settings is a plus Strong understanding of radiation safety and proper imaging protocols Excellent patient-care and communication skills Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult patients Ability to work independently while also being an active member of a small clinical team Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Willingness to assist with other clinic responsibilities when needed About Instant Orthopedic Care Instant Orthopedic Care is a locally owned, dedicated orthopedic urgent care clinic designed to make injury care faster and more convenient.
