Schedule:

Monday-Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM ? ? As a CT Technologist , you will operate diagnostic equipment to produce computerized axial tomographic scan (CT) images of internal organs for use by professional personnel. Explains process to patients and interviews for medical history. Instructs and assists patients in assuming positions for proper scan, and administers contrast media (I.V., oral, rectal and P.O.) according to protocols. Primary Duties:

Prepares patients for scan. Reviews patient records for orders, exam history, lab work, and allergies, and positions patients on the scan table. Establishes I.V. site for contrast infusion and administers oral, rectal and I.V. contrasts. Consults with Radiologist prior to administering I.V. contrast for bolus I.V. injections. Monitors patients during injection for evidence of contrast reaction. Enters patient and exam data into x-ray computer system and performs computed scan images. Prepares reports and maintains records of service rendered , using the radiology department computer system to verify billing and quality assurance. Completes incident reports and anesthesia records when necess
