Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will work alongside radiologists and other clinical professionals to provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures. 8:00 AM-5:00 PM On-call responsibilities What You'll Do As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will: Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including verifying orders, patient identity, medical history, and procedure readiness. Assist radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a sterile environment. Perform interventional radiology procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain a sterile field and follow appropriate infection prevention and aseptic techniques. Follow radiation safety practices for patients, coworkers, and yourself. Administer contrast agents in accordance with established guidelines and departmental protocols. Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure procedures can be performed safely and efficiently. Accurately document patient and procedural information. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Interventional Radiology department. Support students and colleagues through training, education, and cross-training opportunities. Provide compassionate, professional service to patients, families, physicians, and fellow team members.

What We're Looking For Required:

ARRT certification/registration in Radiologic Technology AHA BLS certification At least 6 months of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 months in Interventional Radiology, or successful completion of the Mary Washington Healthcare/MIF cross-training program

Preferred:
