1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III Trauma Center, requiring ARRT-CT certification and acute care experience in a fast-paced hospital setting. Details Imaging Department with 3 CT Suites Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds Day shift patient types include general, diagnostic, interventional, ER, and critical cases Evening/night shift patients are approximately 90% ER and ICU Over 100 patients seen in a 24-hour period 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Wednesday/Friday from 0800-1630 2-3 call shifts per month, call hours are 7p-7a Weekend rotation on a fixed schedule, some positions require every weekend Holiday coverage required every other holiday Uses Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, MedRad injector, and Change Healthcare PACS Equipment includes Siemens Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64, and Definition Edge 128 Typically does not float outside the department Requirements BLS and
ARRT-CT & R
certification required WA state license required if applicable Acute care hospital experience required Experience with general, diagnostic, interventional, ER, and critical care CT cases required Cardiac CT experience preferred Experience in a large Level III+ facility required, critical access-only experience not accepted No prior equipment experience necessary Additional Information Support team includes Lead CT Tech, Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalist, Radiologist, RRT, and CT Transporter (unavailable 4am-9am) IR MD and PA assist with CT cases; Radiologist on-site during the day and off-site at night Up to 5 CT Techs on staff during business hours, reduced to 3 after 5pm Orientation includes NEO plus a minimum of 1 week in the department Covid vaccine required at this facility Scrubs may be any professional color without logos or designs Free parking available First-time travelers accepted if they have broad experience in a large Level III+ facility Travelers with 1 year of experience accepted if from a large Level III+ facility and comfortable in a fast-paced environment RTO requests must be approved by the manager
