Job Summary Teton Sports and Spine Imaging is looking for the right fit to join our team where we care about each other, our culture and our patients. Join our dynamic healthcare team as an outpatient MRI Technologist, where your expertise in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) will play a vital role in delivering accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging. In this energetic and fast-paced environment, you will operate advanced MRI equipment to produce detailed images that assist physicians in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques will ensure precise results while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving diagnostics while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence. The clinic is open Monday - Friday 7:00-5:30. Looking for FT - Tuesday- Friday 7:00-5:30 shift. No nights. No weekends. ARRT preferred Check out our website: www.tetonmri.com Responsibilities Perform MRI scans utilizing a 3-T, state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes Utilizes GE specific equipment, willing to train Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns with professionalism and empathy Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to interpret images, providing insights based on anatomical knowledge and diagnostic criteria Ensure all medical terminology used during documentation is accurate and clear, facilitating effective communication across healthcare teams Adhere to established protocols for medical imaging, including proper calibration of equipment and adherence to safety standards Qualifications Proven experience operating MRI equipment with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices within a clinical setting Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations by analyzing images for quality and accuracy Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and optimize image results Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals Certification or licensure as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
