Lifestyle Director Catalina Palms at Sundance | Port St. Lucie, Florida Play Academy is seeking an energetic, organized, and community-focused Lifestyle Director to lead resident engagement and lifestyle programming at Catalina Palms at Sundance, a vibrant 55+ community in Port St. Lucie.

Reports To:
Founder and CEO of Play Academy About the Role The Lifestyle Director will own the overall resident experience at Catalina Palms. This person will create and manage the community activity calendar, produce engaging events, oversee resident communications, support resident-led clubs, and serve as the central point of coordination for all Play Academy programming. The ideal candidate is outgoing, highly organized, creative, and comfortable independently managing a busy community calendar. Evening and weekend availability is required, as the Lifestyle Director is expected to be present at nearly all major community events. Key Responsibilities Create and publish the weekly and monthly community calendars Plan and produce social, arts, enrichment, culinary, game, holiday, and community-wide events Coordinate event vendors, entertainment, catering, rentals, contracts, and insurance documentation Manage event promotion, registration, ticketing, rosters, payments, and waitlists Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown Welcome new residents and encourage participation in community activities Support resident-led clubs, committees, volunteers, and club chairs Manage community newsletters, emails, announcements, flyers, signage, and social media Administer resident registrations, calendars, payments, and communications through PLAY Connect Maintain event budgets, revenue records, invoices, and monthly reports Coordinate facility and venue availability with community management Lead a weekly planning meeting with the Director of Health & Wellness and the Director of Racquets & Bocce Combine all departments into one organized community calendar and resolve scheduling conflicts Communicate schedule changes and cancellations promptly to residents Report incidents, resident concerns, budget performance, and participation results to Play Academy leadership The Lifestyle Director will not design fitness, wellness, tennis, pickleball, or bocce programming. Those areas are managed by their respective department directors. This position is responsible for ensuring that all programming fits cohesively within the master community calendar.
