Chesapeake Treatment Center, a 29-bed residential treatment center for adolescent males located in Parkville, MD (near Towson) has an

IMMEDIATE

opening for an Arts and Music Expressive Therapist / Activities Coordinator.

Schedule:

Days:

Sunday

• Thursday or Tuesday
• Saturday, 11am
• 7:30pm preferably

Responsibilities:

The Activities Coordinator will assess, plan, implement and evaluate activity programs that meet the functional needs of our patients and support their treatment goals. Coordinate and participate in patient activities designed to promote social interaction, reality orientation and intellectual stimulation. Develop and circulate monthly calendar of planned activities.

Minimum Requirements:

1-2 years of related experience

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's degree Successful experience facilitating activities in a structured recreational program Experience in a psychiatric treatment program

Pay:

$20.00
