Maple Ridge Manor in Lowell, MI is looking for a part time activities assistant to join our team. We are located in Lowell, Michigan. Our ideal candidate is an organized, self-starter who is hard-working and takes pride in their work. Description of Position In charge of planning daily activities to meet all resident needs in both our Memory Care and Assisted Living, residential care setting. Must take each individual resident's likes and dislikes into consideration. Conduct activities assessments and create an enriching life experience for everyone who lives at Maple Ridge Manor of Lowell. Must be community oriented and love working with the elderly.

Responsibilities include:

1. Activity calendar planning that meet the psychosocial needs of the residents. 2. Tracking who attends activities 3. Activity Assessments 4. Reports back to administration on residents wants/needs 5. Makes sure planned activities are organized and supplies are on-site. 6. Ensures an exciting and stimulating environment and encourages community involvement. 7. Plans individual activity to support all resident needs, especially those in the memory care 8. This list in not all inclusive. Qualifications Preferred Certification in Recreational Therapy. Preferred Activities experience.
