The Activity Center Manager will have responsibility for cultural, athletic, and community events and general operations of the MACC Activity Center. The Manager is expected to be actively involved in MACC and Moberly area communities and to work with the public schools, chamber boards, and other groups in the area to promote Activity Center and College events. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried, exempt position covered by the Public School Retirement System of Missouri. Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of computer essentials including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn various College related software programs Effective communication and leadership skills Schedule flexibility for evening and weekend events Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Experience with facility and employee management Experience with sports programs The Activity Center Manager shall: Maintain strong communication with the college administration; Maintain an operational plan for the Activity Center; Assume responsibility for scheduling facilities, events, and activities; Work with MACC athletic director and coaches to schedule athletic events; Maintain close scrutiny of all financial accounting in relation to the facility; Coordinate community activities as appropriate; Create, plan, and problem-solve in relation to events and activities for the facility; Develop and implement plans for growth in use of the facility; Develop special activities targeted to specific groups as needed; Communicate with other departments in the college to maintain continuity and balance; Work with groups, organizations, businesses and individuals to bring programs and events to the Activity Center; Arrange for ticket sales, marketing, scheduling, pricing, staffing, and all other necessary activities to assure well-run and successful programs and events; Oversee the operation of the concession stands in the Activity Center, which includes staffing, training, ordering food, rotating products, establishing prices and making bank deposits; The Activity Center Manager shall attend and manage all events held at the Activity Center and other events as assigned; Participate in meetings and activities as requested by the Director of Plant Operations; Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Plant Operations.
