We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Activity Director to lead our activities program and enrich the lives of our residents every day. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating engaging experiences, building relationships, and fostering a vibrant community where every resident feels valued and included. What You'll Do Plan, organize, and oversee a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual needs of our residents. Develop creative daily, weekly, and seasonal activity calendars. Coordinate community outings, special events, entertainment, and volunteer programs. Supervise, mentor, and support activity department team members. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure individualized resident engagement. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to resident activities. Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to create personalized programming. Manage department scheduling, budgeting, supplies, and documentation. Qualifications Experience leading an activities department in a long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred. Activity Director Certification (ADC) or eligibility to obtain certification preferred, as required by state regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
