JOB SUMMARY

The Activities Director/Recreational Therapist is a key part of our facility. Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: A flexible work a flexible schedule; this position requires some weekends and evenings. Responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and other duties. Leading scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions Organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and families Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities Interact with families and visitors of our residents

REQUIREMENTS

CTRS, or Certification as an Activities Director (Required) Successful criminal background check Long-term care facility experience preferred.
